To get an idea of the color concentration, place a few drops of colored wax onto a piece of white paper. The wax will set up immediately and give you an idea of the color of your candle. You can add more dye to reach your desired color. Please note: When using these dye blocks in gel wax, only shave off small portions at a time. A little goes a long way and too much will cause clouding of the gel. (3/4 oz. block colors approx. 16 lbs. of wax.) Candle Scent Instructions from Yaley package: After your wax is completely melted, and JUST BEFORE POURING INTO YOUR MOLD, add approximately 1/8th of the concentrated scent block to 2 pounds of candle was.
