Basket Weaving, Handmade Basket Frame

Rustic basket frame of wild grapevine and oak, the weaving already started with palm splints and palm seed stems. This is a shallow oval basket measuring 11" x 8.5" wide x 2" deep. The bundles of weaving materials include palm seed stems,  2 rust color philodendron sheaths, and a dozen lightweight sabal palm frond splints. This is a good way to get the feel of these materials. If you have never woven, it may be a nice beginner project, as the difficult frame assembly is done. If you are an experienced weaver and would like a quick weaving project, or looking for some new materials, this may be for you. Included in the kit are the pre-assembled frame, 3 bundles of weavers, free samples, and weaving instructions. This is a small basket that will weave up fast. You can mix and mingle materials if you have your own supply at home!
