Mason Stains
250gm Bermuda Green – a great lime to mid green, very modern and fresh.
100gm Really Rich Red – a deep rich red that is earthy and grounding.
25gm Mandarin Orange – A Hot orange that seems to go with everything.
50gm Deep Crimson – A lovely luscious burgundy that feels expensive.
Mason stains are stable colourants primarily used to colour Underglazes, Glazes or Clay Bodies. They will not fade under light or heat and can be used to stain anything if sealed after use.

"World Ceramics" " Hardcover by H&M Munstenberg. A beautiful book that explores the history of ceramics and pottery all over the world. Great photos and easy reading help to make this book a favourite of mine for teaching.
"Potters Project Book", hardcover by P.Cosentio. Good look at pottery in the 80’s and a few really good projects that are well explained and illustrated. Better for someone who has done some clay work already.
Both books illustrate the use of slip trailing and you will find yourself itching to get started with that Ultimate Slip Trailer.
